D.B.G.E.M. - Developing Boys into Gainfully Employed Men, Inc. was established in 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic and remote learning revealed the inadequate education of our male youths, that are drastically behind academically and ill prepared for adult life. D.B.G.E.M. introduces industry knowledge, innovation, education, preparation, integrity, focus, commitment, and responsibility giving male youths a vision and path for a financial and economically sustainable future. Our programs are for 7th grade through 12th grade students, remedial students, and an alternative to those in the misdemeanor juvenile court system. Our camps, workshops, and programs teach Employability Standards, Financial Literacy, Leadership, Time Management, Good Study Habits, College/ Military Test Preparation, Dual Enrollment options, and essential survival skills. Our Professionals and vocational educators give them insight to the in-demand jobs and careers in STEM, STEAM, Skilled Trades, AI, etc. DBGEM Juvenile Diversion & Empowerment Program addresses core intervention areas such as mentoring, anger management, truancy, impulse control, self esteem development, and substance abuse awareness, etc. We are empowering purpose.
